Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, a Nigerian rapper, has revealed that he is now stranded in Cyprus.

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, the fast-rising music artist revealed this via his Instagram Stories.

“I’ve been stuck at the Cyprus airport prison. The show promoter got me fucked up,” he wrote.

As of the time of this report, the incident’s details are still hazy.

Earlier this year, Mohbad joined Naira Marley’s record company. He rose to fame, through his smash tune “Feel Good.”

This isn’t the first time a Nigerian music celebrity has been arrested and detained in another nation.

In the year 2020, singers Tems and Omah Lay were arrested and imprisoned in Uganda.

They were detained for violating the country’s Covid-19 laws for playing in a packed venue despite the restrictions.
