Meghan Markle revealed her link to Nigeria on her podcast “Archetypes,” and as a result, the nation has received an unknown contribution from her and her husband to aid with the flood catastrophe there.
Meghan revealed on her podcast that she is 43% Nigerian, which drew a lot of enthusiastic responses from Nigerians.
The Archewell Foundation’s donations to Save the Children and UNICEF were also confirmed in a press statement by a Spotify spokeswoman.
According to the spokesman, the unknown amount will “help offer aid following severe floods creating devastation in Nigeria.”
The greatest flooding that Nigeria has experienced in years has wreaked havoc on many states, uprooting 1.3 million people, killing 600 people, and injuring 2,400 more.
