The hit song “Organise” by Asake has been covered by Nigerian street-hop musician Portable in a new video.
By Omotayo Olutekunbi
Since his breakthrough single, “Zazzu Zeh,” with Olamide, Portable has showcased his ability on a few tracks.
The singer who just acquired a chieftaincy title in Ogun State uploaded snippets of his version of Asake’s famous song “Organise” as the newest example of his skill.
On the cover of his song “Azaman,” Portable alludes to the recent public disagreement between Carter Efe and Berri Tiga regarding ownership of their popular song “Machala.”
In the eye-catching cover, Portable used street-relevant lexicons to discuss how some individuals seek out scam artists in the guise of assisting them.
After the release of the “Zazzuh Zeh” remix, in which Poco Lee asserted his status as the principal artist, Portable and the dancer, promoter, and media celebrity got into a public argument.
Similar to Berri Tiga, who penned and recorded “Machala,” which was supported and funded by Carter Efe, Portable was in a similar circumstance at the time. Since then, the song has given rise to a contentious argument between the two and polarized opinion, particularly among musicians and influencers.
If Portable uploaded the cover, streaming services would probably remove it due to copyright issues because it utilizes the beat and melody of Asake’s song “Organise.”
The song could, however, be on Audiomack, where covers are frequently shared. It could also be accessible on well-known websites where you can get music.
