Superstars have released new songs as they sought to get the year off to a solid start for the Nigerian music industry in 2023. There are a few tunes that stood out to listeners amid the 2023 election fervor.
Google has released the top searches made in Nigeria in the first quarter of 2023, which show a riveting fusion of politics, pop culture, and curiosity.
Homegrown musicians dominated the music scene as Nigerians eagerly sought out the newest songs. Who is your guy? by Spyro took first prize, followed by Ruger’s “Asiwaju” and Boy Spyce and Khaid’s “Carry me go” in second and third, respectively.
