After nearly a decade in the industry, Indigenous rapper and street pop expert Naira Marley finally released his debut album on Monday, May 30th, 2022. The record, titled ‘God’s Timing Is the Best,’ highlights the long wait for a debut release from a musician who has been at the top of his game for more than a decade.
Among the guest appearances on the 14-track album are collaborations with Zinoleesky and Mohbad, as well as other Marlian Records label mates.
This album is expected to be Naira Marley’s magnum opus, since her music and influence have been a prominent part of the Nigerian music scene since 2018. Listeners might expect a few of club bangers from the album in terms of hit tunes.
Similarly, the topic and material for which Naira Marley is well-known is not likely to change with this album. Naira Marley enlists the services of street hit experienced producers who are the brains behind the key street pop releases in the last couple of years for ‘God’s Timing Is the Best.’
