The Hilux van has been found by the police, but the commissioner’s whereabouts are still unknown.

Chief Dennis Ekpe Ogbu, the housing and urban development commissioner for Benue State, has been kidnapped.
Ogbu was kidnapped while his route to his hometown local government of Ado, according to Daily Trust, along the Ado-Otukpo road in the state.
On Sunday, December 4, 2022, at about 9 p.m., his Hilux truck was apparently forced to stop at the Adankari crossroads.
However, the Hilux vehicle has been found by the police, but the commissioner’s whereabouts are still unknown.
The event has been confirmed by SP Catherine Anene, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).
