Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos and the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) presidential candidate, is now traveling with his entourage in the UK.
On Monday, December 5, 2022, Tinubu is scheduled to present his “Renewed Hope Agenda” at the Chatham House in London as part of preparations for the election of 2023.
In the next hours, the APC candidate will be outlining his policies for security, the economy, and foreign policy at the UK’s premier institution for international and policy think tanks.
He is accompanied by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Governors of Jigawa and Kaduna States, Abubakar Badaru and Nasir El-Rufai, as well as the former Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi.
In his manifesto, Asiwaju stated his goal to create a strong infrastructure capable of efficiently combating terrorism, banditry, abduction, and other criminal activities wreaking havoc across the nation.
Just one day will pass before Arise TV, in collaboration with the Centre for Development and Democracy (CDD), hosts a presidential town hall meeting to engage candidates from the four main political parties in the nation. Tinubu is leaving for the UK at this time.
