Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake, and Kizz Daniel have been nominated for the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Nigerians received nominations for the Best African Artist Category when the candidates were announced in an event on March 18, 2023.
Other Nigerians who made the nomination list are Omah Lay, Mayorkun, Yemi Alade, and BNXN. Omah Lay was nominated for Best Collaboration for his verse on King Promise’s “Ten Toes,” while Mayorkun was nominated for his work on Camidoh’s “Sugarcane” remix, and Yemi Alade was nominated for “Dumebi,” her collaboration with Mzvee.
On May 13, 2023, the Accra International Convention Center’s Grand Arena will host the VGAMs (AICC).
