Netflix has launched an open call for screenwriters and filmmakers to join its 2022 Episodic Lab and development executive training program.
The program, which is run in collaboration with the Realness Institute, is aimed for filmmakers who want to develop their unique narrative concepts in any genre and also want to work as story consultants.
At the end of the program, in 2022, interested participants will have the opportunity to pitch their incubated tales to Netflix executives.
Participants will also collaborate with creative producers and story specialists to create their concepts and pitch decks for their series, as well as connect with international and local guest speakers on a weekly basis throughout the program.
During the incubation phase, which runs from May 1 to July 31, 2022, chosen individuals will receive a monthly stipend of USD 2000. The application period ends on January 14, 2022.
