The historic concert by Nigerian megastar Wizkid is scheduled to take place in London Stadium in 2023.

The date for Wizkid’s London Stadium concert, which is a stop on his “More Love, Less Ego” tour, has been scheduled for June 1st, 2023.
The megastar will perform in the 80,000-seat venue, which is now the home of premier league team West Ham United, making him the first African to do so.
Wizkid’s fifth studio album, “More Love, Less Ego,” was released on November 11, 2022. He then announced his 2023 tour plans, which would begin with performances in the United States and Canada.
More recently, Wizkid delighted fans with a collection of his great singles at the 20,000-capacity Zigo Dome in the Netherlands, where he sold out the venue.
The date of Wizkid’s London stadium performance hasn’t been formally announced, although he made a hint about it on Twitter. Online sales of the show’s tickets have already begun, and they state that the performance will take place on June 1st, 2023.
Burna Boy’s earlier declaration that he will be playing at the stadium on June 3, 2023, served as the precursor to Wizkid’s concert in London.
Fans have expressed their disapproval at Wizkid’s choice to schedule his gig two days before Burna Boy’s, especially given that the two engaged in an online argument only days before Wizkid released “More Love, Less Ego.”
The potential for two Afrobeats megastars to sell out the 80,000-person London stadium in three days is another triumph for the genre.
