She can never be caught off guard! Mercy, who’s been acclaimed the Queen of Highlights, has once again, got the Internet buzzing since she stepped onto the first ever Big Brother Naija All Stars show. Recall that Mercy became the first female to win the Big Brother Naija show, and was arguably the most beautiful female housemate in the Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem season.
On Saturday, the 24th of July, Big brother unveiled the participants for the Big Brother All Stars season, introducing Mercy as the number 9 contestant. Stealing the show as usual, the successful entrepreneur and fashion diva showed up for the show uniquely glammed in her carnival-themed outfit.
Mercy Eke looked absolutely spectacular in her outfit! Wearing a super cute dress with a halter-neck and plenty of sparkly embellishments, paired with some strappy sandals. The dress also features wings and a cool headpiece.
This spectacular outfit couldn’t have come off without the idea and creative competence of a professional fashion designer. Makililo Nelson is the African-inspired creative fashion stylist/costume designer responsible for Mercy’s stunning look. He shared a behind-the-scenes video on his social media, showing all the hard work that went into styling her. With all the rigorous steps that went into the design, It’s really fascinating to see how everything came together to make her glow.
Nelson is not only a fashion entrepreneur, but has also honed his great fashion sense and creativity on diverse occasions. Known by his brand name, Styled By MaklinScout, he has styled various other influential celebrities before Mercy. Some of which are Mercy Aigbe, Ashmusy, and other international personalities.
Styled By MaklinScout is located in Abuja and Lagos. It may seem as though Mercy’s appearance, glammed with this exceptional design, got more people curious about the brain behind what we could easily term ‘the most iconic look of the season’. So this is us doing justice to curiosity with an insider gist.
The photos of the beautiful dress was shared on Mercy Eke‘s Twitter page with the caption:
“All Stars without the STAR of the show? Nah!!! The QUEEN OF HIGHLIGHTS is back!!!
We have done it before, and can do it again 👏🏼 Mercenaries, you know how we roll, it’s TIME, let’s do this again!!!
