Tekno, the multi-talented Afrobeats musician, is working on a new album.

Tekno’s music has contributed to the commercial boom of Nigerian music, with his single ‘Pana’ being one of the biggest songs in Nigerian music’s digital age.
Despite reducing the frequency of his releases in recent years, the singer, songwriter, and music producer is ready to release a new album.
Tekno revealed this on May 22 through his Instagram story, where he stated, “Album done” in announcing his long-awaited second album.
Tekno has only released one track in 2023, ‘Freetown,’ in February. In 2022, he had enormous commercial success with ‘Buga,’ his duet with Kizz Daniel, one of the biggest African singles recorded last year.
The new album will follow ‘Old Romance,’ released in 2020 and received neither critical nor commercial recognition.
Tekno has yet to disclose his new album’s title or release date, but fans should anticipate it this year.
