Ebuka Turns Up Africa is an upcoming African original series on Prime Video.
The celebrated Nigerian actor Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will star in the travel-reality show, which promises to take viewers on an exciting journey across Africa while unearthing hidden gems and putting friendships and allegiances to the test.
In Ebuka Turns Up Africa, Alistair Englebert Preston, Zubby Michael, Jimmie Akinsola, Onoja Adole, and Timini Egbuson embark on an incredible journey together, creating a compelling display of adventure and companionship.
Together, they set off on an incredible VIP journey across Africa in this gripping series that not only crosses national boundaries but also exposes the men who lie behind the famous faces.
On a journey across the continent that isn’t always easy sailing, personalities clash and tempers flare as our all-star group fires their spirit of exploration.
When Ebuka described the show, he said, “This journey was not only an exciting exploration of Africa, it was an opportunity for audiences to see a different side of me and the guys. While we had a huge amount of fun and plenty of laughs, there were also some pretty intense conflicts—it was one wild adventure!”
The group of daring travelers will engage in a range of experiences during the journey, from touring some of Africa’s most sought-after locations to taking part in risky, exhilarating activities. The men will put their friendships to the test as they learn about the power of unity that arises when they… Turn Up Africa!

Ziyanda Ngcaba and Erika Klopper executively produce the Prime Video Original, Ebuka Turns Up Africa, which is produced by Rapid Blue Productions Nigeria.
In addition to an exclusive overall deal with director and producer Jáde Osiberu and her production company, Greoh Studios, and an exclusive commissioning slate deal with Nemsia Films, starting with Breath of Life, which launches later this year, the show builds on Prime Video’s commitment to bringing local and authentic African series and films to a global audience.
The debut of Ebuka Turns Up Africa is scheduled for 2024.
