He said that he and his team were unaware of any regulation in the country prohibiting using such phrases while performing.

Joeboy, a popular Nigerian rapper, recently described a shocking event in which he almost faced arrest and could not play in Saint Lucia.
The skilled vocalist, well known for his smash song “Alcohol,” was supposed to perform at an event in the Eastern Caribbean island country. However, his appearance was unexpectedly canceled during the concert.
Joeboy said on his Instagram Story that he was barred from performing owing to his disc jockey’s usage of filthy language. Neither he nor his crew were aware of legislation in the nation that forbade such language during performances.
“Saint Lucia, I travelled over 40 hours to be with you, and I was super excited to perform here for the first time. I couldn’t perform today due to issues with the organisers.” I tried my best to give you the best performance today, but my set was cut off and my DJ was taken off stage. My DJ was taken off stage because he said, ‘Make some f*cking noise’. We were not given any memo that we couldn’t use any curse words on stage,” he wrote.

Joeboy is a well-known Nigerian singer and composer. He received great notoriety and appreciation in the Nigerian music industry with his breakthrough track ‘Baby’ in 2019, which became a major smash and launched him to prominence.
He became interested in music from an early age. Joeboy began his musical career by singing in his church choir and competing in talent competitions. In 2017, he drew the notice of Nigerian record producer E. Kelly, who subsequently connected him to Mr. Eazi, a notable Nigerian singer and the creator of emPawa Africa. This initiative encourages rising African artists.
