For all the times he wanted to pop the question, popular Canadian musician Drake received a diamond necklace with 42 engagement rings.
A famous jeweler from New York, Alex Moss, designed the 351.38 carats of diamonds and 18K white gold jewelry.
On Tuesday, December 13, Moss displayed the jewelry, which includes 42 diamond engagement rings from engagements the rapper “never did.”
Moss posted a video showing the magnificent work from various viewpoints along with a voiceover describing the making and significance of it.
The voiceover described the piece as “Bordering the impossible, an expedition spanning 14 months, every diamond hand selected, inspected to only suit perfection.”
The video continued with several shots of the jewelry, “this monumental art piece was assembled using 351.38 carats of diamonds mounted in 18k white gold.”
“Each stone is meticulously set, utilizing the eagle claw technique. ‘Previous Engagements’ for all the times he thought about it but never did. A true wonder of the jewelry world. Presented by Alex Moss New York and Drake,” the voiceover concluded.
Moss captioned the video: “New piece titled ‘Previous Engagements’ for all the times he thought about it but never did it. 42 engagement rings, 351.38 carats in diamonds.”
Drake has dated a number of ladies throughout the years. His most well-known relationship lasted from 2009 to 2010 and involved the singer Rihanna.
By uploading a picture of himself snuggling up to Jennifer Lopez in 2016, he fuelled relationship rumors, but the couple soon broke up.
He began dating reality TV personality and model Johanna Leia in July 2021.
