He only knew Wizkid and Davido before a talk with his daughter.

Bill Gates is well-known for his multibillion-dollar firm, Microsoft, and his charity activities in Africa, notably in Nigeria, where he was awarded the national honor of Commander of the Federal Republic.
During a recent visit, the billionaire recounted a brief tale about his daughter, who stated he was glad to be visiting Nigeria since he would get to meet Burna Boy and Rema.
The donor continued by saying that he couldn’t share his daughter’s joy since he didn’t have one of them. He does remember watching Davido and Wizkid perform on one of his trips to Nigeria.
Gates’ comment sparked outrage on social media, as the billionaire unwittingly mimicked Davido, who recently referred to Burna Boy as a “New Cat” in an interview with a French media outlet.
Davido’s comment was designed to emphasize the crop of new musicians bringing Afrobeats to a worldwide audience in the aftermath of his and Wizkid’s massive and trailblazing efforts.
The comment divides Nigerians on Twitter, with some agreeing with Davido and others arguing that Burna Boy cannot be considered a new cat since he released his first major hit, ‘Like To Party’ in 2013.
