Ramon Abbas, widely known as Hushpuppi, a Nigerian online fraudster who is now being tried in the United States of America, has demonstrated moral character while incarcerated by pleading with the court to order him not to be extradited to Nigeria due to Abba Kyari.

It was discovered that Hushpuppi demonstrated a moral attitude, quality of work, reliability, and productivity between July 2021 and November 2021 on his report card for the Central Valley workshop for inmates.

It was also said that prior to Hushpuppi’s case in September, the FBI had asked his prosecutors to lower his sentence for his involvement in a global crime that netted him millions of dollars between 2019 and 2020 to 11 years in jail and 3 years of supervised release.

The internet fraudster has also asked US Judge Otis Wright to exercise pity and reduce his sentence because he performed well in the cleaning tasks. Louis Shapiro, Hushpuppi’s lawyer, wrote the following in the document that was submitted: “He is currently working within his prison cleaning windows and showers for which he has received great personal evaluations.”

The lawyer said that in addition to caring for his elderly parents in Nigeria, Hushpuppi has three children who are all living abroad, in London, the United States, and Dubai.

Shapiro had also made a counterdemand, pleading for his client Hushpuppi’s protection from being hurt by the disgraced police officer Abba Kyari if he were to be sent back to Nigeria.

Hushpuppi said that his involvement in the allegations made against Mr. Kyari that resulted in the officer’s dismissal had placed his life at risk.

His attorney wrote; “Once this case is resolved and Mr. Abbas is released, he will not be able to return to Nigeria. Abubakar Kyari, a Nigerian politician and police officer operates a death squad. He was indicted in the Juma case by the government’s investigation into this case.

“Mr. Abbas hopes to move his family out of Nigeria when he gets out of prison”.
