The Week Seven of Big Brother Naija All Stars, themed “Planet Earth,” came with lots of drama. The return of Big Brother’s Parrot stirred up trouble, with no peace in sight.
The week kicked off with Sholzy winning the Head of House game and selecting Whitemoney, Mercy, Cee-C, and Ilebaye as his BFFs. Meanwhile, Adekunle secured immunity with the black envelope.
A twist IN fate came when Whitemoney earned himself an automatic nomination, joining housemates with the most nominations, Doyin (7), Venita, and Ilebaye (5 each).
Throughout the week, the housemates participated in various tasks, including Arla and Oriflame. Team Arla, consisting of Angel, Adekunle, Doyin, Pere, and Sholzy, won the Arla task, while Adekunle, Ilebaye, Soma, and Whitemoney won in the Oriflame task.
The housemates succeeded in their wager task, which involved crafting five trees from recycled materials to secure a wager worth 7500 Moniepoint coins. The presentation of their work featured thought-provoking poetry by Angel, and contemporary dance routines by Neonergy, Cross, and Ilebaye. Serving as wager judges were three former Big Brother housemates: Ozo from Lockdown, Chizzy from Level Up, and Vendora from Double Wahala.
Sholzy’s leadership was well appreciated by the housemates with both Ilebaye and Big Brother commending him for his outstanding role, particularly in ensuring the timely completion of their wager task. This marked a departure from previous Head of House reigns, where wagers often remained incomplete until the last minute.
Big Brother’s Parrot’s revelations caused tensions, leading to conflicts between Angel and Neonergy and later Doyin and Pere. Doyin had a lengthy conversation with Alex in the dressing area, discussing how the housemates, including Pere, had misunderstood the parrot’s words. Alex subsequently approached Pere to address the concerns raised by Doyin. Doyin, who overheard their conversation, called out Pere for lying about not having a conversation about Cross snatching KimOprah from him, culminating in a heated altercations which led to Pere punching a hole in the wall.
The week saw several strike warnings and punishments. Mercy Eke received one strike for repeatedly violating the microphone rule. Adekunle and Venita got one strike each for obstructing Big Brother’s cameras, while Doyin and Pere received strikes as consequences for their altercations. Neoenergy and Pere shared a onesie as punishment for whispering during dialogues.
The week concluded with the Sunday eviction of Doyin, saving Ilebaye, Venita, and Whitemoney, who had also been on the week’s nomination list.
