Tinubu Sacks All Service Chiefs, Appoints New Service Chiefs 

Tinubu has ordered that all Service Chiefs resign immediately.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu dismissed all Service Chiefs on Monday, June 19, 2023.

PRESIDENT TINUBU RETIRES ALL SERVICE CHIEFS, ADVISORS, AND THE COMPTROLLER GENERAL OF CUSTOMS AND APPOINTS NEW ONES

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has authorized the immediate retirement of all Service Chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers, and Comptroller-General of Customs, as well as their successors.

The newly appointed Officers are:

Finally, the President has approved the appointment of Adeniyi Bashir Adewale as the Ag. Comptroller General of Customs.

It should be noted that the appointed Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Comptroller General of Customs are to function in their roles until confirmation in conformity with the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s Constitution.
