Spinall, a superstar DJ and performer, has released a new track titled ‘Loju’ featuring Wizkid.
By Omotayo Olutekunbi
Spinall has established himself as one of Africa’s most popular DJs via collaborations with celebrity musicians like Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, and Rema.
Spinall is back with a new song named ‘Loju’ featuring megastar Wizkid after his current album ‘Top Boy’ was released in February 2023.
‘Loju,’ an Amapiano track, features Wizkid’s characteristic melodies over bubbling log drums and booming kicks.
The tune follows a spate of Wizkid collaborations in 2023 that include cameo appearances on recordings by Rexxie, Wande Coal, DJ Tunez, and lately on Metrobooming’s ‘Spider-Verse: Across The Spider.’
Spinall and Wizkid had previously collaborated on successful tracks ‘Nawo’ in 2018 and ‘Dis Love’ with Tiwa Savage in 2019.
Wizkid recently headlined the Glastonbury Music Festival in the United Kingdom and will perform on Day 2 of Afronation Portugal on June 30, 2023. On July 29, 2023, the Grammy winner will become the first African to headline a performance at Tottenham Stadium.
