Sanwo-Olu, Okowa, Okezie, Abiodun, And Others Win US awards 

The award investiture will take place at the Marriot Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, on September 8, 2022.

Some well-known Nigerians in Nigeria and the Diaspora have been nominated by THE Transatlantic Leadership Forum Organization, USA Inc., a non-governmental and non-profit organization based in the United States of America, for awards for outstanding leadership.

As an organization, TALF is interested in effective socio-economic and political leadership in Nigeria and around the world.

The award investiture will take place at the Marriot Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, on September 8, 2022.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State is the nominee for Sustainable Development Icon of the Year; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State is the nominee for Infrastructural Development Icon of the Year; Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia is the nominee for Entrepreneurship Development Icon of the Year; Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State is the nominee for Transformation Icon of the Year; and the Elema of Warri, High Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan is Business Icon of the year.

Among the others are Professor Babagana Zulum of Borno, who won the award for rehabilitation, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State for urban renewal, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State for investment, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State for peace, and Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River for innovation.

TALF’s Life-Changing Icon of the Year is Princess Joy Osifo, while Prince Sam Ogrih is the Real Estate Icon of the Year, Mrs. Seinye O. B. Lulu-Briggs is the Philanthropy Icon of the Year, and Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State wins the award for Healthcare Service Delivery.
