The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) awarded Rema a gold plaque for his single “Calm Down” after he gave a performance in an Italian show.

The song served as the lead single for Rema’s debut album, “Raves & Roses,” which was released in March 2022. The song has received a lot of positive feedback from fans since it was released, and a Selena Gomez remix helped it gain even more traction.

‘Calm Down’ first earned Gold certifications in Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands before getting it in Italy. In the UK, it was awarded a Silver certification, and in France, a Diamond certification.

The song received widespread praise as it debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top 10 of the UK singles chart, peaking at number 74.

Rema announced that “Calm Down” has achieved 1 billion streams across all platforms during his performance at Brixton Arena in London.
