Tems, a Nigerian international singer-songwriter, has been named Best New Artist at the 2022 Soul Train Awards.

The singer was nominated for the award with CKay and Fireboy, two other Nigerians.
Beyonce took up the trophy for Best Album for “Reinassance,” Song of the Year for “Break My Soul,” and Best Collaboration for “Make Me Say It Again, Girl,” making her the night’s biggest winner.
On November 26, 2022, the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas hosted the 2022 Soul Train Awards.
