The initial dates for the presidential campaign rallies in Ekiti and Ondo were December 15 and December 16, respectively.

The Labour Party has announced the cancellation of its planned presidential campaign rallies in the states of Ondo and Ekiti.
The postponement was attributed to unavoidable and exceptional circumstances that were out of the party’s control.
This was said in a brief statement by the Labour Party on December 1, 2022.
But it vowed to provide brand-new times for its American rally.
“Due to some unavoidable and unusual circumstances beyond our control, our earlier scheduled presidential campaign rally in Ekiti and Ondo for 15th and 16th December 2023 is hereby postponed. A new date will be announced. We regret the inconvenience caused by this,” the statement reads.
The party made the announcement just 24 hours after Peter Obi, its presidential candidate, and Baba Ahmed-Datti, his running partner, had their campaign rally in Kogi State.
On October 18, the Labour Party began holding rallies for their presidential campaign but has not adhered to its schedule.
The party was supposed to conduct its rally in Kogi on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, on October 23.
Rallies for the states of Niger, Kwara, Bayelsa, Rivers, and Cross River were also planned for October but were canceled.
The political gatherings that were supposed to take place in the states of Kaduna, Kano, Jigawa, Katsina, and Sokoto in November also didn’t happen.
