The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will unveil the outcomes of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, will release the results and discuss related matters at a press conference on Monday in Abuja.
The head of public relations, Fabian Benjamin, sent out a notification informing journalists of this development in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
On Monday, April 29, the results for those who took the UTME exam a few days ago are anticipated to be announced; the results for the other applicants will be made available when a comprehensive review procedure is completed.
The board underlined that the results have to be carefully examined in order to maintain the results’ legitimacy and reliability.
This preventive measure ensures confidence in the results by addressing issues including impersonation, disparities in biometric data, and different types of exam misbehaviour.
More than 700 computer-based test centres around the country received more than 1.9 million registrations for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in the past week.
The 2024 UTME is expected to conclude today, having begun on Friday, April 19, 2024.
