Two Entrepreneurs, Supported by Nicki Minaj & DiCaprio Have Raised £4M to Build Vegan Shoe Brand

Emmanuel Eribo & Philippe Homsy, are cofounders of LØCI, a sustainable footwear brand that produces vegan shoes using recycled plastic valued at $25M.

These London-based business owners have raised more than £4 million to launch their line of vegan sneakers, Lociwear.

Emmanuel Eribo and Phillip Homsey started the business after one of the founders witnessed the damage that plastic was doing to marine life while diving abroad. This gave rise to the concept of Lociwear, a vegan shoe company which does not compromise on quality or style.

In its most recent investment round, the company raised over £4 million from investors, including Nicki Minaj and Leonardo Dicaprio, at a valuation of £25 million.

Distributed in more than 22 nations, Lociwear’s sales have increased by 420% this year, approaching 100,000 pairs of trainers sold. This growth has been fueled by the company’s most recent trademark shoe collaboration with investor Nicki Minaj.
