Nigerian on-air personality Nedu recently disclosed that he lost an endorsement agreement due to fake misogynistic claims against him.
The OAP described the painful experience and voiced his surprise at how false these rumors are during a talk on The Honest Bunch podcast.
He remarked that he did not let the circumstance emotionally impact him. However, he underlined the cause for the agreement falling through, linking it to the larger perception that he despises women.
Concerned about its brand image and attractiveness to female customers, the beverage corporation canceled the endorsement offer.
In response to the claims, Nedu said he had no ill will against women.
He noted the absurdity of the issue, pointing out that his comedy sketches often reveal his love and regard for women. Still, he is nonetheless accused of being a woman hater.
