Tems, a Nigerian international sensation, has released teasers for a few tracks off her debut album, “Born In The Wild,” which is set to release on June 7, 2024.
Tems shared a snippet of track 12 titled ‘Free Fall’ featuring American rapper J Cole on her X (formerly Twitter) account.
The teaser comes after she recently performed the song “Unfortunate,” another unreleased track from her upcoming debut album, on NPR’s Tiny Desk. Tems has been quite busy promoting her record.
The Grammy winner has participated in a number of interviews, the most recent of which was a whole day in which she discussed parts of her journey and personal experiences with love, fame, and success with Nigerian YouTuber and content creator Korty EO.
She most recently made a return appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she sang her most current song, “Love Me Jeje.”
With two interludes on tracks 2 and 13, Tems’ debut album, “Born In The Wild,” features eighteen songs. Rapper J Cole from the United States and Nigerian sensation Asake both make two guest appearances on the album.
Tems claimed in an earlier interview with Apple Music that the inspiration for her debut album comes from her many life experiences and the journey she took to become the person she is today.
