Afronation Lagos Announced Dates For Its Maiden Nigerian Edition
The first event will take place in December, the organisers have revealed, following their announcement that they would be adding Nigeria to the Afronation schedule for the first time.
Afronation revealed the dates for the inaugural edition of Afronation Lagos in a post on their social media pages on September 6, 2023.
Through its festivals, Afronation is the largest exporter of Afrobeats and African music, making stops in the US, the UK, and numerous other European nations.
The festival had a Ghanaian version in 2022, and one of the main performers was American rapper Meek Mill.
Afronation is one of the most eagerly awaited events of 2023 Detty December due to the Lagos dates.
The Tafawa Balewa Square, West Africa’s largest square with a capacity for 55,000, will host the event.
Nigerians will be excited in the artist roster for Afronation Lagos and will undoubtedly anticipate the bill to include the same heavy hitters that have made Afronation a popular event in Europe and America.
