The Banker’s Bank of the Year Awards 2022 named Zenith Bank Plc Nigeria’s Bank of the Year.
The award, which was presented to Zenith Bank during the awards ceremony held in London on December 1, 2022, was announced by The Banker Magazine, Financial Times Group, United Kingdom, in honor of the bank’s capable management, sound business model, and strategy, assistance to small businesses, and initiatives to reduce energy consumption.
The Banker claims that, in keeping with the nation’s position as the continent’s largest economy, Nigeria’s Bank of the Year award was among the most fiercely fought on the continent this year. This is the latest accolade after Zenith Bank’s receipt of the Tier-1 Capital by The Banker award for being the top bank in Nigeria earlier this year.
