“Come in the name of peace, come with Ukrainian symbols to support Ukraine, to support freedom, life.

In a video message sent early Thursday, Zelensky said, “ Come to your squares and streets, make yourself visible and heard.

“Say that people matter, freedom matters, Ukraine matters,” he said.

He claimed that Russia initiated the war on freedom.

He went on to say that Moscow is attempting to suppress the freedom of all people in Europe and the rest of the world.

“For that reason, I ask you to stand against the war starting from March 24, exactly one month after the Russian invasion.”

Fighting raged near the besieged city of Izyum, according to a daily report released on Facebook early Thursday by Ukrainian generals.

According to the generals, the great bulk of Ukrainian soldiers are under fire in the eastern Donetsk region.

According to the report, Ukrainian military stopped Russian troops near Brovary, a Kiev suburb.
