The Permanent Secretaries were appointed solely on the basis of their track and merit records of success in previous positions, according to Sanwo-Olu.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has sworn in ten new permanent secretaries, encouraging them to deliver excellent services as they carry out their duties.
According to a statement from the state government, the swearing-in event took place on Wednesday at the Lagos House Ikeja, where the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, was present.
The Permanent Secretaries were appointed solely on the basis of their track and merit records of success in previous positions, according to Sanwo-Olu.
Sunday Jokotola (Tutor General District IV), Emokpae Ibironke (Commerce, Industry, and Cooperative), Salami Oyenike (Judicial Service Commission), Zainab Oke-Osanyintolu (Parastatal Monitoring Office), Sanusi Alake (Debt Management Office), and Abolaji Abolanle (Education) are the new Permanent Secretaries.
Others include Bolarinwa Afusat (Local Government Establishment, Training, and Pensions) and Engr. Daramola Olufemi Olubunmi (Public Works Corporation), while Mr. Sikiru Salami, Auditor-General, and Mr. Obafemi Ogunlana, Auditor-General for Local Government, were both sworn in in acting capacity until their confirmation by the State House of Assembly.
In their votes of assurance, Jokotola thanked the Governor for his trust in them and promised to carry out their responsibilities in accordance with the legislation that governs their appointments.
He also assured that the appointments would be faithful and would not let Sanwo-Olu or the Lagos State Government down.
