Award-winning Afrobeats artist Fireboy shared a teaser for an unreleased song on Twitter, possibly teasing his first release of 2023.
Afropop and electronic dance music are combined in the song Fireboy was singing along to in the video released on March 13th, 2023. Fans of the singing sensation who has continually wowed listeners with his songs are thrilled with the one-minute clip and can’t wait to hear more from him.
With the release of his third album “Playboy” in 2022, the teasing single will be Fireboy’s first release of 2023.
After the release of his critically praised debut album “Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps” in 2020, Fireboy gained widespread recognition and rose to prominence as one of the best Afrobeats artists.
With the help of his popular song “Peru,” which had a remix with Ed Sheeran, made the Billboard Hot 100, and was awarded a platinum RIAA plaque, he became famous worldwide. Also, when he performed with Ed Sheeran at Wembley Stadium on the mainstage of the BET Awards, he made history as the first African artist to do so.
When his album “Playboy” failed to live up to the standards of his previous two albums, Fireboy would like to start 2023 out intense.
