The US President, Joe Biden, has announced the US Presidential Delegation to attend Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inauguration on Monday, May 29, 2023, in Nigeria.
Biden made the news in a statement on Monday, May 22, 2023, before his inauguration on May 29, 2023, at Eagle Square in Abuja.
The group will be headed by Marcia L. Fudge, Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, according to the US President.
One week after, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken contacted Tinubu and assured him of the two nations’ good working relationship.

Monde Muyangwa, Assistant Administrator for the Bureau of Africa, United States Agency for International Development.
The inauguration ceremonies will commence on Thursday, May 25, 2023, with Tinubu receiving the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic and Kashim Shettima receiving the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger.
