Nigerian Singer 9ice Receives Chieftaincy Title in Ogun State

In Ogun State, renowned singer Alexander Abolore Akande, better known by his stage name 9ice, has been bestowed with an honorary chieftaincy title.

9ice used a series of posts on his Instagram account to share the good news. He showed his appreciation to the Oba by giving him the royal embroidered cap in the photos. The joyful vocalist also shared a picture of herself accepting the formal certificate in another post.

Appropriately for a musician such as himself, the singer’s new moniker, Aare Amuludun Ijofin Kingdom, means chief entertainer of Ijofin Kingdom.

Since then, 9ice has received a deluge of congratulations, well wishes, and conventional greetings that are appropriate for his new position from his supporters and well-wishers.

The Nigerian singer Portable achieved a chieftaincy title in 2022 when he was crowned the Amuludun of Tigbo Awori Land, which is located in Ogun State. The Streets Hop singer recently celebrated the chieftaincy’s first anniversary in style.
