Burna Boy is all set to captivate listeners with the release of his highly anticipated new single, ‘Big 7’. The Afrobeat sensation continues to shatter boundaries and redefine the genre in the music industry with his distinct sound and fascinating stories.
Burna Boy has also announced the pre-order link for his 7th album, ‘I Told Them,’ which is due to be released on August 25, 2023.
The album is expected to be an appealing blend of lovely melodies and impactful storytelling, demonstrating the artist’s progress and unwavering devotion to musical excellence.
Burna Boy has become one of the largest Afrobeats performers, driving the global exportation of African music since his international triumph in 2018. He created history by becoming the first Afrobeats act to win a Grammy when he won the World Album Category for his fifth album ‘Twice As Tall’ at the 2021 edition.
He just became the first African act to headline sold-out stadium performances in the United Kingdom and the United States, performing at London Stadium and Citi Field Stadium in New York.
Burna Boy’s two releases suggest that his upcoming album will see him depart from his Afrobeats approach to create a body of work that appeals to the sensitivities of a worldwide audience.
