Yemi Alade, a well-known Afropop artist, criticized a Twitter user for offering her unasked-for advice.
Alade tweeted about a user who encouraged her to get pregnant and have a child.
She reacted by denouncing the follower as a “nitwit” for giving her unwanted counsel, “It’s a New year! Find something new to say you nitwit”, Alade wrote.

She also made the time to slam a different Twitter user for disparaging her music releases and urged her to put out better songs this year.
I have nothing for you ,you wouldn't know a good thing even if it slapped you in the face. https://t.co/PcjFMJkEpk

The user wrote, “Please give us good music this year abeg…. Not all those your regular pangolo.”
In response, Alade wrote that she doesn’t have anything to say to the user. “I have nothing for you. You wouldn’t know a good thing even if it slapped you in the face,” she wrote.
Afropop is Alade’s specialty as a singer, songwriter, actor, and activist. Her track “Johnny” became a smash in 2014 after she joined the Effyzzie Music Group in 2009 after winning the Peak Talent Show.
