Nigerian music prodigy Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid, recently sparked a stir on social media with a startling move on his official Instagram account.
The singer made news after unfollowing every celebrity on Instagram except Naira Marley, the founder of the Marlian music company.
Wizkid’s unexpected choice has left fans apprehensive as they speculate on the various reasons behind his decision.
This is not the first time the singer’s Instagram behavior has drawn notice.
In 2022, he unfollowed everyone on his account, and in 2019, the musician drew notice when he wiped his whole timeline, removing all of his postings.
These activities have contributed to the intrigue surrounding his social media behavior.
Wizkid, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, is a significant personality in the present Afrobeats music industry.
The singer rocketed to prominence by publishing his first studio album, “Superstar,” 2011. He is regarded as one of the most prominent and influential African performers ever.
