It looks like Nigerian fans may soon get their dream to witness Davido and Wizkid perform on the same stage.
By Omotayo Olutekunbi
Wizkid made the surprising revelation that he will be going on tour with fellow megastar Davido on his Instagram page on January 18, 2023.
Wizkid wrote in a post on his Instagram account that “After my ‘MLLE (More Love, Less Ego)’ tour!! Davido and I going on tour! save your coins! I no wan hear pim”.
Fans were shocked by the statement since they didn’t see it coming.
The loss of Davido’s son caused Wizkid to delay the release of his fifth album, “More Love, Less Ego,” as readers will likely recall. Fans who loved the display of love and support praised the action.

Fans are in a frenzy as they anticipate a collaborative performance from two of Africa’s top artists as a result of the news.
At Wizkid’s 2017 December event, when he invited Davido out as a special guest to play “FIA,” the two artists famously shared the stage.
Given that Wizkid has urged fans to conserve their money, seeing Wizkid and Davido together won’t be cheap.
In any case, the two’s combined tour will mark a significant turning point for African and Nigerian music.
