Wizkid and Bloody Civilian, two of Nigeria’s biggest musicians, will be featured on an upcoming EP honoring reggae icon Bob Marley’s ongoing legacy.
This partnership represents a turning point in the ongoing intersection between reggae and afrobeats.
In 2023, Bob Marley’s estate released the ‘Africa Unite’ album that featured Nigerian superstars Patoranking, Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Oxlade, and Ayra Starr.
With the release of the ‘One Love’ EP, Bob Marley’s legacy will live on and continue to bring people together across the globe.
Another indication of Wizkid’s status as a worldwide superstar whose music has made him one of the most successful African artists in the world is his inclusion on the EP.
Bloody Civilian gained widespread recognition as a result of her appearance on the “Black Panther” soundtrack. Since then, her debut EP, “Anger Management,” has brought her commercial success.
The forthcoming Bob Marley EP is expected to chronicle the ongoing international ascent of Nigerian music while also introducing his music to new audiences.
