Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, has revealed that his favorite song is “Who’s Your Man” by Spyro, a well-known Nigerian musician recognized for his Afrobeats and Afrofusion music.
Spyro’s followers, who have enthusiastically and publicly supported the musician on social media, have responded favorably to Sanwo-musical Olu’s taste.
Some people, however, are still unhappy with the results of the recently-concluded elections and how Sanwo-Olu was favored, so they don’t care much about the governor’s musical preference.
He was re-elected as the state’s governor during the March 18 general election. He got a total of 762,134 votes, defeating Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party (LP) and Abdul-Azeez Adediran alias Jandor of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who received 312,329 and 62,449 votes, respectively.
In a recent video posted on Twitter by Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Lagos State on New Media, Sanwo-Olu was questioned about his favorite music while working at his office.

Responding, he said, “Right now is, ‘Who’s Your Guy’ by Spyro. Oh yes, I’m following up with my people. I love the song, yes!”
Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known by his stage name Spyro, is a rising talent in the Nigerian music scene. He originally rose to prominence in 2018 after his song “Funke” went popular on social media.
He has since released a number of popular songs and joint projects, including work with well-known Nigerian musicians like Mayorkun and Davido.
