Nigerian street-pop superstar Portable has expressed a wish to crown his trophy case with the most coveted award in music.
By Omotayo Olutekunbi
Timi Agbaje, a comedian and video creator, conducted an interview with Portable, who disclosed that he is after the Grammy and intends to add it to his collection.
Portable said that he would win the Grammy if he had reached the pinnacle of his career when asked what he would have done. He said that his most recent record, “Son of Ika,” was an attempt to win a Grammy.
The sensational performer declared his desire to take home the Grammy for greatest African artist.
Fans will be interested to watch how Portable, despite the lack of a category, can establish himself as the top African musician by dominating the continent.
The singer of “Zazzu Zeh” said he finds it flattering that young people all throughout the nation copy his hairdo. He admitted that he had briefly considered becoming incensed at the mimicry before recognizing it was a result of his notoriety and success.
As a legend, Portable claimed to want to collaborate with female music greats like Asa and Tiwa Savage.
Additionally, Portable requested the assistance of megastars Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy to advance his career in the same way that Olamide did by giving him exposure on “Zazzo Zeh.”
