Portable said some things about Davido throughout the heated campaign.

In response to Davido’s criticism of him during the campaign for the governor of Osun State, Nigerian artist Portable has apologized.
As may be noted, Davido campaigned for Gboyega Oyetola of the governing All Progressives Congress while Portable worked with his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, of the People’s Democratic Party, during the state’s most recent governorship elections (APC).
Portable said some things about Davido throughout the heated campaign.
“Open your ears and listen. My father is not a rich man. I am glory. I am the one who made my family rich. Support who supports you. They ran to unfollow us,” he said at that time.
The divisive musician was later unfollowed by Davido on Instagram.
At the request of Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, the Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu Land, the traditional monarch who granted Portable a chieftaincy title, Portable eventually apologized to Davido.
“There is nothing between me and Davido. I was called for a job there and I collected money. Davido and I do not have issues. Meanwhile, whatever happens, there is no problem. I am a child of God. I am not fighting with anyone. I am looking for money. Fans of Davido kindly forgive me. I am sorry,” he said.
