With the Big Brother Naija All Stars season gradually closing up, stronger competitors have started living the game. This week’s unexpected eviction of Whitemoney for instance, left even the housemates stunned.
The Week came with a few entertaining moments, from the week’s tasks to the heated altercation between Pere and Alex, culminating in the eviction show. Let’s highlight some of these notable moments:
HOH CHALLENGE
The week kicked off with the Head of House (HOH) challenge, won by Cross. This victory granted him immunity from eviction, and he chose Pere, Whitemoney, Neoenergy, and Adekunle as his BFFs.
TASKS
The tasks for the week included the Close-Up task and the Hmm task, along with their wager, which they unfortunately lost. The HFM task received considerable criticism from fans due to their unimpressive performances. In the Close-Up task, Team Triple Fresh which included Alex, Sholzy, and Soma emerged as winners of the “Prom Night,” while Team Confidence which included Neoenergy and Venita won the “Shoot Your Shot” task. Following Big Brother’s introduction of inviting former housemates as wager task judges, Hermes, Queen, and others served as judges for the week’s wager task.
SHOPPING
Big Brother presented the housemates with shopping offers, including:
- Immunity Pass for week 9 Guaranteeing a place in the finals. It costs 4,000 Moniepoint Coins.
- Black Envelope Pick (One containing Immunity). It costs 3,000 Moniepoint Coins.
- HOH Game Advantage guaranteeing 7-minute head start in the next HOH game. This costs 3,000 Moniepoint Coins.
- Meal for the Week (7 cooked meals, one per day) costing 2,000 Moniepoint Coins.
- Dinner for Two. A continental dinner set up at the arena with a meal for 2 costing 1,800 Moniepoint Coins.
- Two additional Moniepoint Gold Tokens for 1,500 Moniepoint Coins.
Mercy and Venita bought meals for a week and dinner for two, respectively. Cross acquired Neo’s Moniepoint coin for 3 million Naira and Omashola’s coins for 1 million Naira. Pere traded his coins for Cross’ fans’ votes through to the finale, while Alex completed Cross’s coins for free.
PERE AND ALEX
On Saturday, September 16, 2023, Pere and Alex engaged in a heated argument over a particular bed in the house. The bed was Prince’s while he was still in the show. The situation escalated when Pere flipped the bed with Alex on it, violating house rules on violence. This marked his second strike on BBNaija All Stars. Alex also received a strike for provocation by removing the duvet off Pere. This was her only strike before her eventual eviction.
EVICTION
This week’s eviction brought a shock as three outstanding competitors, Whitemoney, Neoenergy, and Alex, along with the last houseguest, Sholzy, bid farewell to their fellow housemates.
