Naira Marley, the owner of Marlian Records, has received a notice of contract termination from the legal representatives of the street-pop group Mohbad.

Mohbad’s attorneys delivered a notice of contract cancellation to Naira Marley’s Marlian Records on Tuesday, May 25, 2022. This is related to the widely reported conflict between Mohbad and Marlian Records.
Naira Marley organized and carried out violent attacks against their customer, according to the letter with the subject line “Termination Notice” (Mohbad).
Additionally, it stated that Naira Marley had breached the contract signed in 2019 by failing to pay all royalties and advances owed to Mohbad.
According to the notification, Mohbad was breaking his contract with Marlian Records, which was the reason for the notice.
Furthermore, Naira Marley should pay all royalties, advances, and any financial recompense owed to Mohbad as per the terms of the contract. The letter further ordered that Naira Marley return to Mohbad the list of all the tracks distributed by Marlian Record.
