Megan Jovon Ruth Pete is an American rapper, also known as Megan Thee Stallion, graduated from Texas Southern University with a degree in health management.
The three-time Grammy winner and US rapper released photographs of her graduation on Instagram and Twitter on Saturday, thanking everyone for their support.
“MeganTheeGraduate,” Megan Thee Stallion captioned the photographs on Instagram. I know my parents are looking down on me so proud. Thank you everyone for all the love today” followed by a heart emoji, she wrote, followed by a heart emoji.
“When people count me out or tell me I can’t do something, it only makes me go harder,” the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper posted on Twitter.
Fans and friends wished her well as she completed her studies.
Cardi B congratulated Megan on her graduation by posting a picture of her in her gown on Twitter.
She tweeted, “Congrats theestallion. all of your hard work paid of!!! I know your Parents are super proud of you.”
Miguel Cardona, the United States Secretary of Education, also congratulated the Grammy winner in a video posted to Twitter.
“You worked so hard for this,” he gushed. “Texas is proud of you, the country is proud of you, the secretary is proud of you.”
