The late American actress Marylin Monroe’s two-piece wedding outfit, which she wore to wed baseball great Joe DiMaggio, is currently on the market and is predicted to bring in a hefty sum of money.
Despite being one of her more subtle looks, her two-piece wedding dress from 1954 will be auctioned off by Gotta Have Rock and Roll, and the auction house anticipates a stunning winning offer in the $1.5M to $2M area.

A two-piece, dark brown Serge suit with a white fur collar on the jacket is what the actress is wearing.
According to a story from TMZ, Gotta Have Rock and Roll said that she initially purchased the outfit at Macy’s and then gave it to the mother-in-law of her personal photographer, Milton Greene.
The auction began yesterday, November 23, 2022, and is anticipated to run until December 9 of that same year.
For a decade, Monroe held the top roles, and at the time of her death in 1962, her films had brought in $200 million (about $2 billion in 2021).
She has endured as an important figure in popular culture for a very long time. A Netflix-commissioned film named “Blonde,” which is based on the life of the late actress was released in August 2022.
In this fictionalized portrayal of the actress’s life and career, Ana de Armas plays the role of the actress. Both reviewers and spectators gave “Blonde” dismal reviews. It was described as a sophisticated, intensely divisive movie.
