Maralee Nichols, American basketballer Tristan Thompson’s new baby mom, has responded to his recent tweet revealing their child’s paternity.
PageSix obtained a statement from the former personal trainer’s spokesperson, There was never any doubt that Tristan Thompson was the father of Maralee Nichols’ baby.”
“Tristan made numerous false and defamatory statements and declarations about Maralee over the past few months, and she is taking his contrite statement today in the context of all of those statements,” part of the statement read.
Thompson had previously indicated in an Instagram Stories post that he was the father of Nichols’ kid.
He then apologized to Khloe Kardashian, his former girlfriend and baby mom.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years,” he wrote.
Thompson’s latest tweet comes after he blasted Nichols for attempting to profit from the issue.
Thompson also accused the trainer of disclosing their relationship and pregnancy to the public.
Nichols denied rumors that she filed for child support before the kid was born.
