Nigerian Superstar Kizz Daniel has confirmed that he would perform at the 02 Arena in 2023.
By Omotayo Olutekunbi
Kizz Daniel announced on Sunday, October 16th, 2022 through his Twitter account that he would be performing at London’s O2 Arena in 2023, with tickets scheduled to go on sale soon.
He tweeted the post which caused fans to become enthusiastic, “We doing the 02 arena next year LONDON Tickets going live soon koni baje Laye Laye #cough.”
The first half of 2022 saw a strong performance for Kizz’s project “Barnabas,” which had been released in December 2021. His song “Buga,” which he published in May 2022, has gone on to become an international blockbuster success.
Kizz Daniel also embarked on his wildly popular “Afroclassic tour,” where he gave performances in a number of places around the US, Canada, and many African nations.
The first track off EMPIRE’s upcoming collaboration album, “Where We Come From,” was just released by Kizz, and it is titled “Cough.” As Kizz prepares to conclude 2022 on a high note, the song is already poised for a strong run.
After having one of the most successful years for African musicians in 2022, Kizz has expressed a desire to play at the O2. Kizz sets his sights on the 20K capacity 02 Arena after selling out thousands of tickets across several locations in the US.
Kizz looks to have what it takes to sell out the O2 given the widespread acceptance of “Buga” in the UK, his fame, the potential release of a new album, the sizable Nigerian and African populations there, and the likelihood of a new album.
