Kafayat Shafau, also known as Kaffy, a Nigerian choreographer, has expressed her gratitude for her marriage’s failure.
On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, the prominent celebrity dancer teacher revealed this via her Instagram Stories.
“Those who know me know that I am more than a dancer. I explore my full humanity through dance. I am an advocate for human excellence and advocacy and productivity,” she wrote.
“My marriage failed for so many reasons and I am grateful it failed because I was blind and now I see. Follow me and I go show you wetin I see so you won’t fall like me and if you do, you shall rise. I am Kaffy.”
In January, Kaffy announced on her podcast that her marriage to Joseph Ameh had ended.
The dancer’s marriage to Ameh had reportedly collapsed in 2021, according to sources.
In 2012, Kaffy and Ameh married. They are the parents of two children.
